Accents that aren't textbook

Do I need an account?
Yes — sign up with email or Sign in with Google. The account holds your plan and your cloud minutes.
Is it faster than the dictation built into macOS?
That's the bar. Mull streams audio while you speak, so text appears sooner, copes better with accents and non-English speech, and behaves the same in full-screen apps.
Does a bot join my calls?
No. Mull records your Mac's microphone and system audio, so it works with Zoom, Meet, Teams or any other app — and nobody on the call sees a bot.
What does it cost?
There's a free plan. Basic ($9/month or $79/year) and Pro ($19/month or $179/year) add cloud minutes. On-device transcription is unlimited on every plan.
Which Macs does it run on?
Apple Silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14.2 or later.
How do I install it? Is it on the App Store?
No App Store. Mull ships as a signed, notarized DMG — open it and drag Mull to Applications. On first run it asks for Microphone, Screen Recording (to capture call audio) and Accessibility (to type into other apps).
Does it work for languages other than English?
Yes. Many languages, Russian included, and it copes well with mixed or accented speech. Quality varies by language and how clearly you speak, as with any voice tool.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
Not right now. Mull is macOS only.
